京都駅中で出店しています。（期間限定）

Mr. Randall V. Channel's cake shop is opening a shop in the Kyoto station.

場所は地下鉄の改札口前です。

The place is in front of the ticket gate of a subway.

今日はランディーさんもいらっしゃいました。

There was Mr. Randall V. Channel today.

ランディーさんは裏千家の準教授です。

よって抹茶を使ったケーキが得意で美味しいです。

He is an associate professor of Urasenke.
Therefore, it is good at the cake using powdered green tea.

期間は９月１日～９月１５日までです。

A period is from September 1 to September 15.

（そういえばギロギロの枝國さんが言うには、

フランス人は抹茶を使ったデザートが苦手だそうです。

今度ランディーさんに「外国人と抹茶のデザート」について

聞いてみます。）

今年２回目の鮎パーティーが開催されました。

The party of the 2nd sweetfish was held this year.

以前からは成長して美味しそうになった天然の鮎です。

They are some natural sweetfish which grew and became delicious.

塩焼き。

Grilled with salt.

天婦羅。

Tempura.

これは「せごし」という鮎のお造りです。

This is the sliced raw fish of a sweetfish"Segoshi".

これは「たで酢」の蓼です。

なんと自家栽培です。

This is the "water pepper" of private cultivation.

超本格的！！

They are very full-scale.

それからお陰様で私の母の体調が回復してきました。

疲れた時の「はちみつレモン」。

結構効きますよ！！

私の母親がちょっとピンチです。

My mother is dangerous condition.

夏バテで一カ月で体重が５キロ減りました。

She lost 5kg of weight in one month.

私は今日母のために自家製のはちみつレモンを作りました。

I made honey and lemon mixed juice today for her.

はちみつの糖分とレモンのクエン酸が体に有効だと思ったからです。

I thought that sugar of honey and the citrate of lemon had an effect in her condition.

明日は私の手料理で元気を出してもらおうと思っています。

I plan to cook for her tomorrow.

（まだまだ道楽息子が心配だと言ってますが、さすがにこの暑さはこたえてます。）

東福寺保育園児たちの陶芸教室です。

It is the Tofukuji nursery schooler's ceramic art classroom.

私も東福寺保育園に行ってましたが、

当時のことはよく覚えています。

I had also gone to the Tofukuji nursery school.
I remember the thing of those days well.

今日のみんなもきっといい思い出が出来たことでしょう。

Probably, they are also that today's thing became good recollections.

昨日の報告です。

I do yesterday's report.

午前中は裏千家淡交会京都青年部主催の

千玄室大宗匠の講演会に行きました。

I attended the lecture meeting of Dr.Genshitsu Sen during the morning.

準備風景です。

そして夕方からは祇園ホテルのビアガーデンでした。

I went to the beer garden of the Gion hotel from the evening.

祇園ホテル屋上からの景色です。

This is an unparalleled view from the hotel roof.

さて今日は京都岡崎公園にある

「あやの小路」さんに行きました。

Now, I went to "Ayanokoji] of Kyoto Okazaki Park today.

ハワイで使うコースターのサンプルを見るためです。

It was for seeing the sample of the coaster used at the restaurant in Hawaii.

「あやの小路」の奥社長との会話は、途中でホノルルマラソンの

話題になりました。

Our conversation became the Honolulu marathon on the way.

奥社長は走ることが好きで、年一回はフルマラソンに出場されてます。

President Oku of Ayanokoji jogs.

そんな社長に対して私は「しんどかったら途中でやめたらいいと思っています。」

というとんでもない言葉を口にしました。

途端に奥さんの顔色が変わり、

「最初からそんな気持ちではダメだ！！

絶対完走するという気持ちがあれば少々体が痛くなっても大丈夫！！」

と叱咤激励されました。

He encouraged strongly to weak me.
"You have to run the whole distance absolutely."

ちなみに奥社長が自分の手帳の１２月１２日に

ホノルルマラソンと書いたはりました。

ハワイNanzan GiroGiroのオープンまであと１０８日です。

It is 108 days to opening of Nanzan GiroGiro.

今日は大徳寺の聚光院に行きました。

I went to Juko-in in Daitoku Temple today.

千利休の月命日で、８月は裏千家が担当です。

It is the anniversary of a Sen no Rikyu's  death today.
It is the charge of Urasenke this month.

抹茶の後、お蕎麦と寿司をいただきます。

We eat buckwheat noodles, after drinking powdered green tea.

そして私は亡き伊住宗匠のお墓参りをしました。

I did Mr. Isumi's visit to a grave.

京都青年団体会議の報告をするためです。

It is for reporting the Kyoto young people's association object meeting.

すると私が拝んでいる時に風が吹いたのです。

 While I was worshipping, the wind blew.

京都の若きリーダーの頑張っている姿を見て、

きっと天国の伊住宗匠もお喜びのことだと思います。

I surely think that Mr. Isumi is glad in Heaven (he catches a sight in which the young leaders of Kyoto are doing their best).

ハワイNanzan GiroGiroのオープンまであと１１０日です。

It is 110 days to opening of Nanzan GiroGiro.

雑誌の取材です。

「お気に入りのちりめん山椒は？」

I responded to coverage of the magazine.
Boiled and dried baby sardines and food boiled down in soy of prickly ash which I like.

メジャーすぎる店は紹介しても意味がないと思い、

自分なりによく考えて店を推薦しました。

I introduced the shop which many people do not know.

一軒目は北はた　です。

ここは新鮮さが売り物で、

上品な薄味で、柔らかく炊いてあります。

お店の奥さんも愛想がよく、いい感じです。

The first shop is Kitahata.
This shop prizes freshness.
The wife of a shop is also a very pleasant person.

二軒目はたけのうち　です。

ここは京都では一番小さなちりめんじゃこを使い、

御飯の邪魔をせず、御飯の友として最適です。

逆に山椒は大きくてグリーンが美しいです。

他にも品数が豊富なのが魅力です。

The second shop is Takenouchi.
This is a shop using the smallest boiled and dried baby sardines in Kyoto.
It does not interfere with boiled rice.
Conversely, prickly ash is large and beautiful.

素材、製法、販売。

Materials, processes, sale.

私と同じく職人の心意気を感じずにはいられません。

I feel their spirit as the same skilled worker.

ホノルルマラソンに向けてのトレーニングです。

I trained towards the Honolulu marathon.

普段車で行くガーデンドラッグスまで歩きです。

I walked to the pharmacy which goes by car usually.

途中にある伏見稲荷大社です。

This is Fushimi Inari which exists on the way.

まあそれにしてもホノルルマラソンパッケージツアーは

ちょっと高価です。

（至れり尽くせりで納得はします。）

Even so, the package tour of the Honolulu marathon is expensive.

何でもパッケージは少し高価というものですね。

（会社設立パッケージとか......。）

It seems to be the incorporation-procedures package in Hawaii.

It is 112 days to opening of Nanzan GiroGiro.

今日は同業者の中村翆嵐さん宅へ行きました。

I went to the house in Mr. Nakamura Suiran who is a ceramist today.

陶磁器研究会の会合のためです。

It was a meeting of the pottery study group of Kyoto.

会議終了後中村さんの庭で鱧しゃぶパーティーとなり、

和気あいあいと話は盛り上がりました。

We ate the sharp-toothed eel boiled in the garden of his house.

話は変わり、

Now, the talk changes.

今日の昼間私は自己中心的な人と会い、

自分のテンションは下がってしまいました。

Today's daytime -- I met the self-centered person and my tension fell.

でもそんなこと（やる気が出なくなる）を人のせいにしてはいけません。

But I think that I must not make it others' responsibility.

何事も自己責任です。

All the things are self-responsibility.

気合！気合！

「もみじまつり」モード突入です。

I did intimate to "the maple festival" today.

今日は祇園かにかくにの安田さんと

ギロギロの枝國さんと会合をしました。

I met with Mr. Yasuda of Gion Kanikakuni, and Mr. Edakuni of Guilo Guilo.

私たちは美味しい企画を立てました......が。

 We formed the delicious plan.

恐らく、いや確実に私は今年も一部の人から反感を受けるでしょう。

しかしながら、この祭りのコンセプト（一人でも多くの人に泉涌寺地区の窯元を

知っていただき、この地域が潤うこと）に対してブレずに、

新しい企画を次々と撃ちまくっていきます。

Although I may receive an antipathy, I continue attacking without changing my concept.

結果（祭りの来場者に喜んでいただく）が全てです。
