これは木村さんの作品です。
底の部分の窯変（窯の中での化学変化）が
いい感じです。
This is Ms. Kimura's work.

焼きあがると赤くなります。
ちなみにJyunkoさんの作品は
交趾なので別の窯になります。

今日は今人気の「白いたい焼き」を
初めて食べました。
I ate "the white fish-shaped pancake stuffed with bean jam" which is now popular for the first time today.
これは生地にタピオカ粉などを混ぜ、焼いても白い状態の
ままの「たい焼き」です。
口に入れるとモチモチとした大福のような食感です。
Even if it burns this using tapioca powder etc., it is white.
When it puts into a mouth, it is texture like a soft rice cake stuffed with sweet beans.
中は白黒あんの他、チョコやカスタードクリームなど
色々と豊富です。
Inside is abundant in red bean paste, chocolate, custard cream, etc.
発祥は福岡だそうですが、今は全国区になっています。

いずれブームも落ち着くと思いますが、

その人へのお礼に、月下美人の図柄の
抹茶碗を作りました。
In the gratitude to the person, I made the tea bowl of a Queen's of the Night pattern.
ハワイの貝殻も使用しました。

来月18日からハワイへ行きます。

本日は展示会の打ち合わせで
泉涌寺へ行ってきました。
I went to Sennyu-ji by the arrangement of the exhibition today.
仏殿から見た大門です。
9月20日からの4日間泉涌寺のライトアップに合わせ、
この参道に陶磁器製の灯籠が並ぶ予定です。
It is Daimon seen from Butsuden.
Some lanterns made from pottery are due to be located with this approach on the day of lighting of Sennyu-ji during four days from September 20 in a line.
仏殿の中と外にも花灯籠を置きます。
Some lanterns are put also on the inside of Butsuden, and outside.
泉涌寺は皇室関係の御寺ということで、
ある意味神秘的な部分がありました。
Sennyu-ji is an Imperial-Household-related temple,
A certain meaning -- there was a mystical portion.
しかしながら、近年はとてもオープンになり、
今後一層一般の方に身近な存在として
認知度を高めていかれようとされています。

ゆっくり乾燥させて、赤～ピンク色の釉薬をかけます。

本日ボーンチャイナの実験を始めました。
I began to experiment of the bone china today.
ボーンチャイナは字の如く、磁土に骨（牛）の灰を
30％以上混ぜ込んだものです。
The bone china is the raw material which mixed bony (cow) ashes with kaolin 30% or more.
以前私のブログで紹介したように、京都の
磁器を生産している窯元は、ほとんど同じ原材料を
使用してきました。
As before introduced by my blog, the kiln origin which produces the porcelain in Kyoto has used the almost same raw material.
各陶磁器産地間の閉鎖的かつ競争意識により、
かつては原材料の流失はままなりませんでした。
Each pottery place of production are Exclusive And there was a sense of rivalry.

しかしながら現在はインターネットの普及により、
全国から多種多様な原材料を入手できるようになりました。

それを使用した抹茶碗が本日焼きあがりました。

その茶碗で家内にお茶を点てました。
I blended tea to my wife using the tea bowl.
総釉で高台にも釉薬がかかっています。

昨年の７月に岩石を採取してから、
約１年近くになります。
It has been about one year since I extracted rock in last year .
やっとここまで辿り着いたという心境です。
It is my mental state where it arrived so far at last.
これからもっと完成度を上げ、

岩塩とオリーブオイルがかかっています。

焼きあがりました。

コバルトブルーの絵具は呉須（ゴス）と言って、
磁器にはよく使用されます。
中国は明の時代に「青華」と呼ばれ、
ヨーロッパで珍重されました。

そして私の父も商品に呉須を多く使用しました。

一昨日は私の父の４０回目の命日でした。

ゴーヤ南蛮漬けです。
On five-cereals rice, they are the tempura of a sharp-toothed eel, zucchinis, and the Fushimi green pepper, pickled vegetables with red pepper of bitter gourd.
さて本日、万歩計を買いました。
I bought a measuring instrument 10,000 steps today.
実は運動不足のせいで、体重が少し増えて膝に
負担がかかりました。
ほとんど座り仕事なので、足腰を痛める陶芸家は
多いです。

茶道の道具としての使用目的がはっきりしているので、
完成度が高いです。

ゆっくり乾燥させて、お皿は黄瀬戸に織部、
茶器は紫交趾で仕上げます。

さて本日は諏訪蘇山さんの個展を観に、
京都高島屋に行きました。

当代で４代目になり、青磁を得意とされてます。
女性ならではの感性での作品造りで、
展示会はとても盛況でした。
It becomes the 4th generation in the present generation, and the blue porcelain is made elated.
It is work structure by female sensitivity,
The show was very prosperous.
青磁は２～３％の鉄分が透明の釉薬に含まれ、
還元焼成されて、高貴な青い釉薬となります。

私自身陶芸家は９８～９９％努力で築き上げた技術と
数％の持って生まれた天分が必要だと思っています。

老人養護施設の厨房を見学しました。

We visited the cookroom of the elderly-people nursing institution.
組合の会館でユニバーサルデザインの食器について
勉強をしました。
We studied about the tableware of universal design in the hall of the local association.
11月の「東福寺～泉涌寺窯元もみじまつり」で
学生さん達がデザインした食器を展示する予定です。
We are going to exhibit the tableware which the students designed in "Tofukuji - the Sennyu-ji kiln former maple festival" in November.

伊佐木造り、焼茄子です。
漬けワサビを巻くか、もしくは湯葉醤油で食べます。
They are fresh slices of a fish, and a grilled eggplant.

さて本日は、UIA(裏千家インターナショナル
アソシエーション)近畿エリアの催しで、
お茶会がありました。

これらがお道具ですが、水指、建水、火入が
私の作品です。

今日は初めて人前でお点前をする予定でした。
誰かがするのを見てからと安心していたら、
いきなりトップバッターでして欲しいと言われ、
ちょっと焦りました。
I was going to do procedure for making tea in public for the first time today.
If relieved in since I see someone do,
I was suddenly told to want you to be the leadoff man, and got impatient just for a moment.
自分でも驚くぐらいアクシデントもなく、
無事終了しました。

自分自身将来お茶の先生になる目標もなく、
ただ陶芸の仕事に役立つ様にと思い
お茶のお稽古に行っています。

だけアドバイスしていただく、大塚先生の指導の意味が

Snap peas, Vinegar-seasoned-with-bonito-flavor gelee,
The liver soy sauce sesame vinegar of an abalone is mixed.
Sweet-vinegared pickles of red paprika.
さて本日裏千家国際セミナー同期の
山下潤子さんと山下弥生さんが、
私の工房に来られました。
Now, Urasenke international seminar contemporary Ms. Junko Yamashita and Ms. Yayoi Yamashita came to my studio today.
弥生さんは菓子皿を作られました。
Ms. Yayoi Yamashita made the plate for sweets.
潤子さんは替茶器を作られました。
Ms. Junko Yamashita made second container for powdered thin tea.
その後潤子さんは湯呑を、弥生さんは
御飯茶碗をそれぞれご主人のために、
素焼きの下絵付けに挑戦されました。
Then, Junko challenged the painting of teacup and Yayoi challenged the painting of the rice bowl.It is for a husband.
また作品の経過報告を随時します。

昨日私の地元の京都青窯会協同組合の役員の
懇親会がありました。
There was a social gathering of my local Kyoto seiyoukai cooperative yesterday.
筏に仁清写しの器が映えます。

さて青窯会の青年部ともいえる、泉涌寺陶磁器青年会の
話題ですが...、
Now, it is the subject of the Sennyu-ji pottery young men's association who is a youth part of the Seiyoukai...
京都の異業種の伝統産業の青年会が集まっている、
京都伝統産業青年会から脱会する方向らしいです。
They will aim to withdraw from the Kyoto tradition young men's association.
理由は会に入っていても利にならないと思う人が
いるからでしょう。

裏千家UIA(インターナショナルアソシエーション)の
会長の天江喜七郎氏の記事が載っていました。
Mr.Kishichiro Amae of the chairman of Urasenke UIA (international association) appeared in today's Kyoto Shimbun morning paper.
内容は「オバマ政権と中東問題」という
タイトルの国連公開講座での発言でした。
The contents were the utterances in the U.N. open class of the title "The Obama
government and the Middle East problem."
冒頭この記事でもわかるように、
難しい問題を親しみのある内容でスタートし、
理解しやすく説明されています。
He starts a difficult problem by contents with familiarity, and it is easier to understand the contents and he is explained so that you may understand also with this report at first.
天江氏ご自身がとても謙虚で、ユーモアがあり、
親しみやすい人柄です。

御講演をされます。

使用済み天ぷら油を回収する箱を製作しているという

知人がいいことでマスコミに取り上げられるのは
嬉しいものです。

ちなみに野本さんもゴルフが好きで、私とは
２度コンペで一緒で、スコアが１勝１敗です。

京都の酒米「祝」を復興させようと始まった
イベントです。
中央は酒蔵「月の桂」の増田社長、
右は山田ファームの山田豪男（ひでお）さんです。
It is the event which revived the brewer's rice "congratulation" of Kyoto .
A center is President Masuda of "Tsukino Katsura" .
The right is Mr. Hideo Yamada of the Yamada farm.
親子連れ等、約70名の参加者でした。
The participant were about 70 persons, such as parent and child.
田植え終了後、山田さんのお米で作った
おにぎりを食べました。
We ate the rice ball made from Mr. Yamada's rice after the end of rice planting.
私も今日田植えをしましたが、自分には
農耕民族のDNAが受け継がれていると思いました。
Although I also transplanted rice seedlings today, for myself, I thought that an agricultural people's DNA was inherited.
10月25日に稲刈りをして、来年2月に純米酒「都丸」となります。

I am on the character in which almost all things are taken over,
I will do that on the long board ,generally procedure for making thin tea.
実はお稽古以外で人前でお点前をするのは初体験です。
In fact, as for me, it is first time to carry out procedure for making tea in public at except training.
「みどり会」（裏千家学園茶道専門学校の
別科外国人研修コースで学ぶ茶道留学生たち）の
参加者に笑われないようにしたいものです。

体験できるコースの紹介記事の取材です。

ですから、高台削りはとても神経を使います。
削る時のポイントはためらわずに思い切って、
削ることです。

まだ硬い感じがするので自分では不満です。

（ちなみに三条木屋町のキルフェボンは静岡発です。

今日は京焼・清水焼伝統工芸士会の総会でした。
It was a general meeting of Kyoto ・Kiyomizu ceramic ware Traditional-handicraftsman general meeting today.
場所は京都駅八条口近くのホテルセントノームでした。
見た目に京都らしい前菜でした。
The place was hotel Centnovum near the Hachijyoh guchi of Kyoto station.
It was an appetizer in character with Kyoto.
明日は息子の誕生日なので新幹線八条口改札前の
タルトの店に行き、旬の商品の情報を仕入れました。

この店はBerry cafeという店で、本店は東京青山にあります。

今日は寺尾陶象さんの個展へ京都大丸に行きました。
I went to Mr. Terao Tozoh's private exhibition to Kyoto Daimaru today.
私より年は4歳上ですが、私の長男と寺尾さんの
息子さんが中学校時代同級生だったこともあり、
親しくさせていただいてます。
Although Mr. Terao is on 4 years old from me, since my eldest son and Mr. Terao's son was their junior high school days classmate, I am as intimate as he.
特に絵付け技術は見るべきものがあり、
独自の世界を持った作家さんです。

その後京都高島屋で開催中の「日本伝統工芸近畿展」を
見に行きました。

偶然精華大学の佐藤先生に会いましたが、
こういうのは偶然のような必然なのでしょうね。

本日私は樂茶碗を手捏ねで作りました。
I kneaded Raku tea bowl by hand and made it today.
ロクロと違い手の温もりが伝わります。

じっくり室（むろ）で乾燥させ、
内外を削ります。
A tea bowl is thoroughly dried in moisture room and the inside and outside are deleted.
ロクロに比べ、制作時間はかかりますが、
千利休が長次郎にあえて手捏ねで茶碗を
作らせたことを理解して制作します。
