Mr. Terao June 2 Tuesday

今日は寺尾陶象さんの個展へ京都大丸に行きました。

I went to Mr. Terao　Tozoh's private exhibition to Kyoto Daimaru today.

私より年は4歳上ですが、私の長男と寺尾さんの

息子さんが中学校時代同級生だったこともあり、

親しくさせていただいてます。

Although Mr. Terao is on 4 years old from me, since my eldest son and Mr. Terao's son was their junior high school days classmate, I am as intimate as he.

特に絵付け技術は見るべきものがあり、

独自の世界を持った作家さんです。

Especially the painting technology of pottery has an outstanding thing,

He is the ceramist with the original world.

その後京都高島屋で開催中の「日本伝統工芸近畿展」を

見に行きました。

Then, I went to see "the Japanese traditional-handicrafts Kinki exhibition" was open in Kyoto Takashimaya.

偶然精華大学の佐藤先生に会いましたが、

こういうのは偶然のような必然なのでしょうね。

Although I met Mr. Sato of the Seika university by chance,

I think that it is not accidental and that this is necessary.
