I went to the Osaka fine-arts club today.

本日私は大阪美術倶楽部に行きました。

It is an excellent piece exhibition of Urasenke Tankosha Publishing.

裏千家淡交社の「逸品茶道具展」です。

There is a splendid tea ceremony room

there in the land of Konoike's house a long time ago.

そこは旧鴻池家の跡地で、

立派な茶室もあります。

 It is the "flower   bird   wind   moon" of Grand tea master of Urasenke.

裏千家坐亡斎御家元の「花鳥風月」です。

The board made from the pottery of the form of some fan are

works of the old Eiraku family.

扇型の陶板は昔の永楽家の作品です。

My work (fresh water container) was exhibited in the exhibition site.

展示会場では私造の水指が展示されてました。

I inputted the good thing to my heart today also.

今日も良いものをハートにインプットしました。

Now, we are doing the greeting of the gratitude of

the Kyoto young people's association object meeting.

現在京都青年団体会議のイベントのお礼を行っています。

Since we were helped by many people,

we have just been going to send e-mail, a letter, etc.

今回多くの人にお世話になり、

スタッフ一同がメールや手紙などを送っています。

Since we did not have money,

the people who helped us did not get honest gratitude.

今回のイベントは予算がなく、

まともなお礼ができませんでした。

However, the language of gratitude is said from the person who helped.

にもかかわらず、逆に感謝の言葉が返ってきます。

It is really kind.

本当にありがたいです。

Then, I thanked to the person who gave the congratulatory telegram for us.

というわけで、

私たちの記念式典に祝電をくださった方にお礼を言いました。

I went to the sushi restaurant with the soy sauce sommelier after that.

その後私は今日知り合った醤油ソムリエさんに寿司屋さんを紹介してもらいました。

The name of a restaurant is "Yamabiko."

店の名前は「やまびこ」です。

The sucker of the octopus was large and delicious.

蛸の吸盤が大きくてメチャメチャ美味しかったです。

This is the chopsticks which I bought in the Kyoto Guest House.

京都迎賓館で買った箸（お土産）です。

Paulownia of 5 and 7 is a mark of Japan.

五七の桐が日本国のマークだそうです。

This is my work (sake cup) currently used in the Kyoto Guest House.

京都迎賓館で使用されている私の作品（酒杯）です。

Paulownia of 5 and 7 is drawn also in this.

五七の桐を中に描きました。

And I show that by which I was impressed.

It is Sayoko Eri's work.

江里佐代子さんの作品です。

The next is a table of Japanese lacquer.

次は漆のテーブルです。

The wonderful thing was inputted to my heart yesterday .

昨日は素晴らしいものが私の心にインプットされました。

I went to the Kyoto Guest House today.

本日は京都迎賓館の見学です。

We listen to a lecture first in

the Kyoto Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

先ず最初に京都商工会議所で講演を聞きます。

She is a Gion female proprietor, Ms. Kimi Ota.

祇園の女将の大田紀美さんです。

It was a lecture about "the heart of a reception."

「おもてなしの心」についての講演でした。

We moved to Kyoto Old Palace after that.

その後京都御所に移動。

It is large there anyhow.

とにかく広い。

This is a gate for going into the Kyoto Guest House.

迎賓館に入るための門です。

Though regrettable, it is the ban on photography.

残念ながら撮影禁止です。

My eldest daughter who does not watch a sports program usually

 was looking at the live of the skate today.

普段スポーツ中継を観ない私の長女が

今日はスケートの中継に夢中でした。

先日今年の京都青年団体会議のイベントが終わり、

私の人生の一区切りがつきました。

いよいよ私にとってのフリーが始ります。

I am going to jump 4 rotation jump as a ceramist decisively.

陶芸家としての4回転ジャンプを思い切って跳びます。

And my wife said.

そして家内が一言。

"If you fail over, since a family will fail over, don't fail over by any means."

「あんたがこけたら家族全員こけるし、絶対こけんといてや！！」

I am not going to fail over! !

こけてたまるか！！

I have to make a lid like this.

蓋の再現です。

An important thing is making a size agree.

サイズを合わすことが重要です。

But since it contracts, clay is troublesome.

でも粘土は収縮するのが厄介です。

It becomes so small.

こんなに小さくなります。

Although I think if it becomes large like bread,

I cannot say luxury.

パンみたいに焼いて大きくなればと思いますが、

贅沢は言えませんね。

I made arrangements with Mr. Edakuni and Mr. Matsumoto today.

本日枝國さん松本さんと打ち合わせをしました。

It is about the tableware of the Hawaii store in Gilo Gilo.

枝魯枝魯ハワイ店の器についてです。

Morning glory are changed into Plumeria.

朝顔はプルメリアに変えます。

Yuzu are changed into Mango.

柚子はマンゴーに変えます。

Mandarin duck are changed into Tortoise.

オシドリは亀に変えます。

We are going to hold the event of an announcement on May 29.

５月２９日にお披露目の会をする予定です。

そして懇親会のスタートです。

A woman boxing world champion,

Ms. Etsuko Tada, is a special guest this time.

今回女子ボクシング世界チャンピオンの多田悦子さんが

特別ゲストです。

But almost all people had a pleasant chat, and we got confused.
でもほとんど全ての人が談笑して、収拾がつかなくなりました。

Loud voice was required to improve this situation.

ここは大きな声で皆を引き付けるしかありません。

And I shouted from the bottom of the heart.

そして私は心の底から叫びました。

"WBA world woman minimum class champion
Tada - Etsuko"

「ＷＢＡ世界女子ミニマム級チャンピオン

多田～～悦子！！！！」

Everything goes smoothly after that,

Ms. Tada also played an active part in the presenter of the game.

その後は順調に進行し、

多田選手もプレゼンターとして活躍してもらいました。

Today is a day of the event of

the Kyoto young people's association object meeting.

今日は京都青年団体会議のイベント本番です。

This is a set of the tea ceremony which I took charge of.

私の担当のお茶席です。

These are the tools of the tea ceremony borrowed from Mr. Randy.

Italy tray.
China container for tea.
ランディー　チャネルさんからお借りした道具です。

イギリス製のポット。

イタリア製のお盆。

中国製の茶入れ。

And Thailand  waste-water receptacle.

そしてタイ製の建水。

But the happening occurred.

でもハプニングが発生！！

I was reported by another person in charge

 when powdered green tea and sweets had not arrived yet.

別の担当者から抹茶とお菓子が届いていないとの報告。

I went to buy powdered green tea suddenly,

and another staff went to buy sweets.

急きょ私が抹茶を買いに行き、別のスタッフが

お菓子を買いに行きました。

Furthermore, it also became clear

that there was no tool which filters tea.

さらに茶濾しがないのも判明！！

However, the Fukujuen where I bought powdered green tea

 lent the tool which filters tea,

しかしながら抹茶を買った福寿園さんが茶濾しを貸してください、

The members of an Urasenke international association

and the members of the Urasenke youth part helped me after that.

その後は裏千家インターナショナルアソシエーションの人達と

裏千家淡交会青年部の人達に助けてもらいました。

Also ending the tea ceremony with no problems by their cooperation,

the event of daytime was a success.

皆さんのご協力で無事お茶席も終了し、昼間のイベントは

成功！！

The corner of Gilo Gilo was also large prosperity.
枝魯枝魯のコーナーも大繁盛でした。

And it is although the social gathering of our night started,

The happening occurred again.

そしてその後我々の懇親会が始りましたが、

またもやハプニングが発生！！

We carried the load into the event hall today.

今日はイベントの搬入です。

I have forgotten to take the photograph of the dessert.

The efficiency of my work becomes good when I use this.

これを使って仕事の能率を上げてます。

I think that a big result produces anythings with the difference of slight concentration.  

どんなことでも僅かの集中力の差で大きな結果の違いが生まれると私は思うのです。

Then, the second classified weapons are effective for me.

そこで役に立つのが二番目の秘密兵器です。

The themes of the Kyoto young people's association object meeting this year are

"bonds of Kyoto."

今年の京都青年団体会議のテーマは「京の絆」です。

Although this event is on February 20,

I was already helped by many bonds.

本番は2月20日ですが、

私はすでに多くの絆に助けられました。

Although I would like to introduce all people that helped me,

I introduce everybody after February 20 finishes.

皆さんを紹介したいところですが、

2月20日の本番が終わってからにします。

When I listened to music today, riding in a car,

I thought of a new plan.

新しい企画が思い浮かびました。

This is a pattern which I often use.

私がよく使う文様（青海波）です。

This is also a pattern which I use well.

これもよく使う文様（七宝）です。

However, I need to use a new pattern.

しかし新しい文様が必要なのです。

I am going to develop a new pattern from April.

4月から新しい文様の開発に取り組みます。

"LAY ALL YOUR LOVE ON ME" of ABBA

gave me the chance.  

アバの「レイ・オール・ユア・ラヴ・オン・ミー」が

私にチャンスを与えてくれました。

The tool of the tea ceremony is put into a paulownia box.

茶道具には桐箱が付き物です。

The paulownia box of the private exhibition in Tokyo was completed.

東京での個展の桐箱が用意できました。

I write the title of a work to a box,

箱に作品名を書き、

connect a string to a box.

紐をかけます。

There are some kinds, such as an object for Urasenke and an object

for Omotesenke, also in a string.

紐にも裏千家用や表千家用などいろんな種類があります。

When a box is delivered, the private exhibition of Tokyo is completed.

箱が納品されたとき、東京での個展が終了です。

Now, I am going to change feeling and to challenge new work.

さあ気分を変え、新たなチャレンジのスタートです。 

Names and natures do often agree.

名は体を表す。

I argued with Mr. Kariya about the logo of

the gallery & restaurant in Hawaii today.

今日苅谷さんとハワイ店のロゴについて話をしました。

There is a difference in the design before he meets me,

 and the present design.

苅谷さんと私が出会う前のデザインと

その後のデザインでは違いがあります。

It is a profound design before meeting me.

It is a flexible design after meeting me.

出会う前は重厚。

出会った後は柔軟。

I am said to have thought from people

that I was a more difficult person.

私はよく難しい人だと思っていたと言われます。

However, almost all persons say that I was another person.

でもその後ほとんど全ての人が想像とは別人だと言われます。

It is N with delicacy and adaptability.

We are going to use a Washin shelf

 at the restaurant in Hawaii.

ハワイの店では和親棚を使います。

 the head master of the present Urasenke devised.

和親棚は裏千家の現家元が考案されました。

The feature of a Washin shelf can be used as

interior design also in a Western-style room.

特徴は洋間でもインテリアとして使えることです。

The form of a Washin shelf has a circle, a triangle, and a quadrangle,

 and a color has black and Rose brown.

形は丸と三角と四角があり、

色は黒とローズブラウンがあります。

At the gallery restaurant in Hawaii,

 we use square black by a design concept.

ハワイのギャラリーレストランでは、

店のデザインコンセプトを念頭におき、

四角形の黒を使います。 

I went to the tea ceremony at the Tenryu temple today.

本日は天龍寺でのお茶会へ行ってきました。

In the Tenryu temple,

Seven Lucky Gods circulation

of the eve of the beginning of spring was performed.

天龍寺では節分の七福神巡りが行われてました。

 It is a Japanese garden of main hall in the Tenryu temple.

本堂の中にある庭です。

The tea ceremony was held in the right building.

右の建物でお茶会がありました。

It is the hanging scroll which

the "plum   flower  snow   scent" Daisosho wrote.

大宗匠書　「梅花和雪香」（梅花雪に和して香ばし）
です。

Bearing in severe long winter,

the flower of a plum emits the beauty carried out valiantly and a noble scent. 

Like this plum, just by bearing various distress and people's doing their best in it without

being influenced by the trend of the world, we can acquire noble-minded character.

長く厳しい寒さに耐えて、梅花は凛とした美しさと気高い香りを放つ。　

この梅のように、人も世の時流に流されずに色々な苦難に耐えての精進あってこそ

高潔な人格が得られるものなのだ。

Now, the talk changed and I did the lottery after that.

さて話は変わり、その後福引へと移動。

I got the rice cooker.

炊飯器をゲット！！

Since I drank real sweet drink made from fermented rice,

I was pleasant.

本格的な甘酒も飲んで気分最高で した。

会議は踊る、されど進まず。

This is famous words.

有名な言葉です。

However, yesterday's meeting moved forward.

しかしながら昨日の会議は前進しました。

I also want this plan.

やりたかった企画です。
