今日は私の出身中学校である

月輪中学校の月中祭へ行ってきました。

The festival of my graduate junior high school was held today.

月中は御寺泉涌寺の近くにあります。

A Tsukinowa junior high school is near Sennyu-ji.

私の在学中は秩序がなく、暴力的な学校でした。

This school was a violent school without order during my enrollment in school.

（ドラマ「スクールウォーズ」のモデルになった中学です。）

普通ならばこの嫌な過去を消したいところですが、

事実を受け止め、過去を認識してそして私は自分を変えました。

Although I would like to erase this past if it usually becomes,

I responded to the fact, have recognized the past and changed myself.

そして今ではこの中学校の卒業生で良かったと思うのです。

And I was a student of this junior high school, and thought that it was good.

今日ゴルフから帰ってくると、

パリのデザイナーのダイさんから

嬉しいメールが届きました。

After I returned from golf today, wonderful E-mail was sent from Mr. Dai of Paris.

それはハワイのNANZAN GIRO GIROの工事の様子です。

It is in the situation of construction of the restaurant in Hawaii.

一昨日私と京都青年団体会議の私の友人達は

杉本彩さんと夕食を一緒にしました。

祇園かにかくにの安田さんは杉本彩さんと

小学校、中学校の同級生でした。

Mr. Yasuda of Gion Kanikakuni is her and a childhood friend.

今回安田さんのアレンジで、私達は焼肉「弘」に行きました。

We went to the roast meat Hiro by his arrangement.

店が言う「史上最強の焼肉達」です。

It is the strongest beef in history.

さて、話は盛り上がり私のテンションも最高潮！！

Now, conversation rose and my tension was also the climax.

案の定私は杉本彩さんのショーを観に行くと言ってしまいました。

I promised to go to the show on which she appears.

そしてその場所が何と東京なのです。（これといって東京に行く用はなかったのですが...。）

The hall is Tokyo.

（私はいつも酔うと気が大きくなり、　とんでもない約束をしてしまいます。

　無料でグイノミ２００個や小皿１００枚を作る約束等など...。）

しかし酒の席でも男に二言はありません。

Even when I get drunk with alcohol, I do not tell a lie.

The scallion and the burdock root are contained in inside.

江戸前カマスと松茸の吸い物。

牛蒡の燻製醤油。

梨と柿の白ワイン漬け（ミントの香り）。

ジャコ粉末塩。

The pear and the persimmon were boiled by white wine.
Salt of the powder of small fish.

鮭と栗の炊き込みご飯。

Boiled rice with(salmon and chestnut).

いろんなキノコの赤だし。

Brown miso soup of various mushrooms.

ピーナッツのマカロン。

南瓜の種のバニラブラッセ。

牛蒡のブラウニ―に栗のムース。

豆乳のわらび餅。

The macaron of peanuts.
Vanilla glacer of the seeds of the Japanese pumpkin.

It is a mousse of chestnuts to the brownie of burdock roots.

The bracken-starch dumpling of soy milk.

今日の私のゴルフはまずまずでした。

特にパットとアプローチを丁寧にしたのが良かったのでしょう。

The score of my golf of today was tolerable.
Especially approach and putt were good.
Probably, it was good to have made it polite.

雑にしてはいけないと思いますね。

 I think that we must not make it coarse.

今日は「わらべ会」というゴルフコンペに参加しました。

I participated in the golf competition today.
The golf competition is "Warabekai."

「わらべ会」とは茶道具屋さんや骨董品屋さんのコンペです。

"Warabekai" is a competition of the curio dealer of the tea ceremony, or a curio store.

ちなみに私の今日の成績は最悪。

My results of today were the worst.

これが今日の賞品でした。

This was a prize.

 グッチの携帯ストラップ。

It was Gucci.

（わらべ会らしいブランド志向ですが...。）

しかしながら私の気持ちはリベンジに燃えています。

However, my feeling is burning with revenge.

24日のコンペ（年年歳歳2010）は頑張ります。

I am going to do my best by the golf competition on the 24th.

昨日は女子ボクシングジムの平山会長と

「かぼちゃのたね」というお店に行きました。

I and Mr. Hirayama went to "Kabochanotane" yesterday.

このお店には歌舞伎の役者さん達がよく行かれます。

Many actors of kabuki visit this restaurant.

京都では珍しくドジョウのメニューもあります。

In Kyoto, there is a menu of loach uniquely.

これはウナギの肝です。

This is the liver of eels.

その後私達はもう２軒ハシゴ！！

We went to two bars after this.

今日は電気窯の修理です。

I fixed kiln today.

この伝熱線が切れてしまいます。

This line breaks off.

バーナーで伝熱線を熱くしてつなぎ合わせるのです。

I fixed using the burner.

次にバーナーを使うときはこれに使うつもりです。

Next, I am going to use a burner for this.

今日は私の５１回目の誕生日です。

Today is my 51st birthday.

初心に帰って、土揉みをしました。

I rubbed clay in order to recall my original intention.

（陶芸の世界では、土揉み3年ロクロ10年と言います。）

土揉みの効果は、ロクロがしやすくなると同時に、

体力がつき、何といっても揉んでいる間に気合が入って来ることです。

As for the effect of rubbing clay, a potter's wheel becomes smooth.
And its physical strength is attached and concentration enters.

何事も基本が重要ですよね！！

Foundations are important about all the things.

そこでこれはゴルフの素振りの道具です。

This is a tool of the swinging practice of golf.

12月のハワイ出張の時は、

ハワイ店オープンのためゴルフが出来ないことを望みます。

When I will take an official trip to Hawaii in December, I want me to be unable to do golf.

楽しくなりそうです。

今日は私の町内の親睦会がありました。

The social gathering in the neighborhood in which I live was held today.

食べ放題の昼食会です。

It was an all-you-can-eat luncheon.

There are also many desserts here.

ちなみに私はカレー、ラーメン、チャーハンなどなどを...。

Incidentally I ate curry, ramen noodles, etc.

今日は私達夫婦の22回目の結婚記念日です。

というわけで、私達はハイアットリージェンシーホテル京都の

レストラン「東山」で御飯食べをしました。

We ate a dinner at the restaurant "TOUZAN" in Hyatt Regency hotel Kyoto.

（余談ですが京都北山に「南山」という焼肉レストランがあります。）

特にこの牛肉の焦げ目の香りが最高でした。

The scent of the scorch of this beef was especially wonderful.

このケーキはホテルからのプレゼントです。

（ワインもサービスしてもらいました。）

注　ハイアットさんとは普段から親交があるので。

This cake is service from a hotel.

来年は「NANZAN GIRO GIRO」で乾杯がしたいですね！！

We would like to give a toast at "NANZAN GIRO GIRO" of Hawaii next year.

And this is "a maple festival" which I am making the executive committee chief.

今年は京都肉（最高級クラスの牛肉）を使った

美味しいメニューを作ります。（協力　イルカッペロ、祇園かにかくに、枝魯枝魯、

焼肉処弘）

We are going to make a delicious menu this year using the beef of Kyoto.

（人々の美味しいものを食べたい気持ちを、良い器を使いたくなる気持ちに導く努力を

　私達陶芸家はしなければなりません。）

今日は「もみじまつり」の後援依頼の書類を作成しました。

I was drawing up the documents of the support request of "maple festival."

先ず京都新聞の書類の書式はエクセルです。

The documents of Kyoto Shimbun are Excel.

悪戦苦闘の末やっと完成。

I drew up documents, fighting desperately.

続いて京都市の書類は...。

The next is documents of Kyoto City Office.

ホームページからダウンロードするPDFファイルです。

This is a PDF file.

（えらいこっちゃ！

　字が打ちこめへん。）

そこで急きょPDFの編集フリーソフトをダウンロード。

I downloaded the edit free software of PDF hurriedly.

3時間かかってやっと編集開始です。

I took 3 hours and succeeded in edit of PDF.

この苦労を家内に話すと、

「そんなん手書きでええやん！」

I told my wife and daughter this.
My wife reason "I think that handwriting may be sufficient as it."

娘に言うと、

「......うふ。」

バカにして笑うだけ。

My daughter made a fool of me, and laughed at me.

しかしながら私にはやり遂げたという、

不思議な充実感が生まれました。

However, the wonderful sense of fulfillment was born to me.

これは私の作品ですが、

この色のベースとなる黄色の絵具が廃番で

手に入りません。

This is my work.
However, the paints of the yellow used as this base became a sales stop.

そこで新しい黄色の絵具の開発に取り掛かりました。

Therefore, I began development of the paints of new yellow.

私が今イメージしているのは、

感動されている大宗匠の笑顔です。

It is the smiling face of DR.Sen Genshitsu which I have imagined now.

昨日は裏千家インターナショナルアソシエーション近畿エリアの

お茶会が開催されました。

The tea ceremony of Urasenke international association Kinki area was held yesterday.

場所は私の地元の泉涌寺です。

The place was my local Sennyu-ji.

私は姉と一緒に抹茶椀の絵付け体験の講師をしました。

I was a teacher of painting of a powdered-green-tea bowl together with my elder sister.

みどり会のメンバーも参加です。

The member of Midorikai also participated.

これが今回のお茶会の主茶碗（メキシコ製｝）です。

This is today's main powdered-green-tea bowls. This is made in Mexico.

ちなみにこれらの道具はイギリス・韓国・タイ・エジプト・

イタリア・ハンガリー・チュニジア・マレーシア・ポーランド・インド製でした。

In addition, today's tool was made in Britain, South Korea, Thailand ,Egypt ,

Italy ,Hungary, Tunisia, Malaysia Poland, India.

そしてこれが日本製・伊藤南山造の水指です。

And this is my Japanese-made fresh water container.

インターナショナルということで、

この水指に使った釉薬には、

少しだけハワイのダイヤモンドヘッドの岩石を入れました。

The rock of Diamond Head is [ a few ] contained in the glaze used for this.

昨日は私の小学校区の運動会でした。

The athletic meet of my school district was held yesterday.

そして私は開会式の司会を務めました。

I was a master of ceremonies of the opening ceremony.

一つレースにも参加です。

I participated also in a race.

残念ながら私は途中で次の日のお茶会の

準備のため、途中で会場を後にしました。

Though it was regrettable, I left in the middle of for preparation of the tea ceremony.

しかしながら、結果は上々！！

However, this result was very best.  

やはり勝負事は勝たなあきまへん。

The game must win too.

一昨日の認知症の話です。

It is a talk of the dementia of the day before yesterday.

話によると認知症とは脳に脂肪が溜まるのも

一つの原因らしいです。

It is said that, as for dementia, fat collects on a brain.

ということは生活習慣病とも関連があるということです。

That is, it is related to a lifestyle-related disease.

御存じのように生活習慣病に陥らないためには食生活が大切です。

We must be cautious of eating habits.

私も最近は惣菜中心から御飯中心の食事に変えました。

I mainly have a meal in boiled rice these days.

まるでお茶事の懐石のような感じです。

It is touch like the meal of the tea ceremony.

（初めて大塚宗香先生のお茶事の稽古で茶懐石を食べた時

　こんなに御飯と味噌汁が美味しい物なんだと改めて思いました。）

やはり日本人は御飯と味噌汁ですね！

Japanese people should eat boiled rice and miso soup too.

（御飯中心でバランスのとれた食事をすると、

　少し気持ちが穏やかになったような気がします。）

今日京都府立陶工高等技術専門校の学生さん達が、

私の工房に見学にやって来ました。

The special school student of pottery came to my studio today.

就職活動も兼ねています。

They are hunting for a job.

現在大学３年生の私の長女も急に髪を黒くして

就活に励んでいます。

My college student's eldest daughter is also hunting for a job.
She made hair black suddenly.

しかしながら日本は大不況！！

However, Japan is a deep slump.

時間×労働＝お金の時代は終わりましたね。

Time x labor = money was over.

今は...

知恵×労働＝お金と時間です。

Wisdom x labor = money and time.

私も日々就活をしてるようなものです。

I am also hunting for a job every day.

さて話は変わりますが、

今夜地域の集会がありました。

テーマは「認知症」。

The talk changed and there was a meeting of an area on this night.
A theme is "dementia."

記憶力のトレーニングのため、

今夜の件は明日ブログに書きます。

I repaired the lantern today.

私は色々な絵具を使って、色を調合します。

I mix various paints and make a color.

小道具としてスポンジも使います。

I use sponge as stage properties.

ところで、どうして灯籠を直したかというと、

御寺泉涌寺でイベントがあるからです。

By the way,

The reason I repaired the lantern is that there is an event in Sennyu-ji.

そのイベントとは昨年好評だった夜のライトアップです。

The event of night is held in Sennyu-ji this year also.

今年も泉涌寺において、幻想的な世界が演出されます。

The visionary world is directed.

日曜日は丹後の帰りに日本三景の一つ

天橋立に立ち寄りました。

I went to Amanohashidate on the way from Tango on Sunday.

平地から見た天橋立です。

This is Amanohashidate seen from the flat ground.

リフトで上に登っていきます。

We reach on a hill by a lift.

上から見た景色です。

This is Amanohashidate seen from the top.

股から覗いた景色です。

（天橋立が天に続いていくように見えます。）

This is Amanohashidate seen from my crotch.

そして月曜日はSkypeのテレビ電話の機能を使って

パリのデザイナー・ダイさんと私＆ギロギロの松本さんとで

テレビ国際会議。

And I held a conference with Mr. Di of Paris by Skype on Monday.
Skype is an almost free TV phone etc.

やはり実際にその場所に行ったり、

その人の顔を見て話をするのは違いますね！！

(大切なことだと思います。） 

We need to go to the place.
We need to look at people's face and talk.

I think that something is different.

ちなみに京都では、清水寺で

野々村仁清と尾形乾山を祀ります。

Ninsei and Kenzan are deified in Kyoto.
The place is Kiyomizu-dera.

清水寺は京都で一番観光客が多く来る所です。

しかしながら清水焼の売上は寂しいもんです。

This place has most tourists in Kyoto.
However, there are few sales of Kiyomizu wares.

今日の法要は年々参加人数が増加してます。 

The number of today Buddhist service is increasing every year.

まさしく神頼みですね！！

今日は京都の最北端近くまで行ってきました。

というのは丹後あじわいの郷という所で、

食のイベントが開催されるということを知り、

これは「もみじまつり」の参考になると思ったからです。

I went to the neighborhood of the northernmost tip in Kyoto today. It was for seeing the event of food.
The place is Tango Ajiwai no sato.

来場者は予想以上の多さでした。

The number of visitors here was over my anticipation.

私は鹿肉カレーを注文！！

I ate the curry and rice containing venison.

予めオリーブオイルに漬けた鹿肉を塩コショウのみで

焼いています。

The venison beforehand soaked in olive oil is roasted by seasoning of salt and pepper.

カレーの中にも鹿肉が入っています。

Venison is contained also in curry.

大いに「もみじまつり」の参考になりました。

I greatly got the hint of the maple festival.

今日私は所用で兵庫県の三田へ行きました。

I went to Sanda of Hyogo Prefecture on business today.

今から約20年前私が三田へ行った時に、

「三田屋」というステーキレストランで食事をしました。

When I carried out to Sanda about 20 years ago, it had a meal at a steak restaurant called Sandaya.

ハムとドレッシングも絶品です。

The Ham and the dressing of this restaurant are also delicious.

私は三田屋で食事をした時に商売の基本を学びました。

I mastered the foundations of business then.

味、サービス、雰囲気。

全て価格を超越してます。

Taste. Service. Atmosphere.
At this restaurant, these all had transcended the price.

少々価格が高くても我々は安く感じてリピーターとなります。

Even if a price is a little high, we feel it cheap.

商売は価格も重要ですが、価値はもっと重要ですね。

Value is more important for business than a price.

多くのコーディネーターは口を揃えて、

京焼の価格を下げろ言います。

Many coordinators say "Lower a price" to Kyoto ceramic ware.

でも私は思うのです。

値段より値打ちが重要やろ！！　　と。

It is the rice and dessert of Giro Giro in September.

烏賊の印籠詰め。

椀は赤だしです。

These are rice stuffing of squids.
This soup is red miso soup.

葡萄のグラタン。

おからのカリントウ。

黒ごまの二見寄せ。

フランボワーズのマシュマロです。

Gratin of grapes.
Sweet Cookie of tofu lees.
The mousse of black sesame.
The marshmallow of framboise.

さて、10月11日に囲碁のイベントが開催されます。

Now, the event of the game of go is due to be held on October 11.

場所は六本木ヒルズ。

The place is Roppongi Hills.

私が作った碁笥も登場します。

The receptacle of the go stone which I made is also due to appear.

それにつけても最近の囲碁をさす人は若くて美しいですね。

The players of the game of go are young and beautiful these days.

やはりどんな世界でも若い力がその業界を引っ張っていくと思います。

Young people are required for all the industries.

そんな訳で私は京焼・清水焼の業界の活性化のため、

若づくりをしているのです。

I make myself up [ look / young ] for a while.
It is because of the pottery industry of Kyoto.
